Since 2025, COCO has carried out its activities at Ciudad de las Artes through an invitation from the Ministry of Culture, further consolidating its presence within Panama’s contemporary dance landscape.
Through creation, education, and artistic exchange, COCO continues to foster spaces where contemporary dance critically engages with social realities while remaining accessible to diverse audiences.
VERANERA
Through a choreographic language that blurs the boundary between everyday gesture and stage form, VERANERA invites audiences to experience dance as a living and organic force emerging from the environment, shared rhythms, and the materiality of the body.
The piece proposes a visceral encounter with movement, where physicality becomes both an expressive instrument and a territory for sensory discovery. VERANERA celebrates the body’s ability to inhabit and reinvent the familiar, weaving together presence, resilience, and celebration within a single artistic gesture.
