ATERNO (MEXICO) | El Concreto es Eterno
About the piece
El Concreto es Eterno (Concrete is Eternal) is a physical and emotional exploration that seeks to experiment with all mental forces through the constant search for identity. We use construction as a starting point, questioning why we work so hard every day.
Sometimes I am the cement and you are the bricks, you are the pillars and I am
the roof, the windows, the door, the floor.
Each of us is our own house, but we share our tools.
We are a great construction in constant transformation.
El Concreto es Eterno is the winner of the 2023 Guillermo Arriaga National Dance Award.
