“PAREIDOLIA” is the mind’s ability to recognize concrete figures in abstract forms, like when we look at clouds, stains on a wall or the grain of wood. 

When things are not what they seem. 

When you look closely and a jacket becomes a singer, a tutu becomes an ostrich, a plastic piece becomes a volcano. 

Bodies in continuous transformation, shapes that come to life, seas of plastic that dance like giant waves. 

A poetic and comic universe that remains waiting in our daily lives to be discovered. A journey into the imagination without words where all you need to do is playfully observe the things that surround us to discover their stories. 

“PAREIDOLIA” is a visual and sensorial show, whose expressive force lies in its creativity and in the constant game of transformation of the stage elements at the service of surprising associations, analogies and visual metaphors, capable of making the spectator participate creatively. 

A game in complicity with the audience, where they will be able to see, touch and be touched by elements, materials and characters born from a universe where everything can come to life. 

About the company

La Llave Maestra is a Spanish-Chilean company of Visual and Objects Theatre, which has developed a surprising and suggestive language around materiality, objects and their scenic relationship with the body and gesture. Our Theatre combines elements of Objects Theatre, Masks, Clown and Movement, to create poetic and playful shows that develop imaginary, poetic and surreal universes on stage that make the spectator travel creatively and connect them with their own dreams and delusions. 

We have created 5 shows; “BESTIARIO”, “DELIRIOS DE PAPEL”, ​​ “NÓMADAS”, “L@S NIÑ@S DEL WINNIPEG” and “PAREIDOLIA”. These works have captivated the most diverse audiences in theaters and festivals in 17 countries: Spain, Turkey, Bosnia, Holland, Brazil, Argentina, Taiwan, Costa Rica, the United States, Belgium, Bolivia, Venezuela, Colombia, Uruguay, Mexico, France and Chile.

 La Llave Maestra has become one of the leading companies in Chile for Visual and Objects Theater, thanks to its carefully developed stage language and its particular artistic universe, which allows its shows to be enjoyed equally by all audiences. At the same time, the company is one of the national theater groups with the greatest internationalization, with an average of 3 to 4 tours abroad per year.
