Each of us shares similarities with plants, using masks to face life. Like the thorns of a rose, our smiles and sarcasm can protect the fragile beauty of our past memories. Others prefer shade or light, becoming nocturnal or diurnal beings who depend on the sun, water, or the shade of others to confront the darkness or light of our emotions. These choices reflect our strength and, at times, even the poison or the elixir hidden behind the branches of our intentions.
