Their partnership is rooted in a shared curiosity for subtle bodily states — those that allow images, characters, and emotions to emerge through embodiment. Together, they construct a common imaginary where attention becomes a dramaturgical instrument, and presence itself becomes central to the choreographic experience.
Their scenic language is characterized by refined physicality, emotional sensitivity, and meticulous attention to gesture, creating works where everyday situations merge with the poetry of the subconscious.
Poetic and demanding, their creations place the human being at the center of the stage, revealing beauty through vulnerability, fragility, and the imperfection of movement.
La Mecánica del Infortunio
The Mechanics of Misfortune questions human resilience and reveals the physical patterns that emerge in the body when confronted with adversity. The work reflects on the creative capacity of imagination, where irony and humor become forms of release and survival.
Combining dance theater and object manipulation, the piece exposes the grotesque dimensions of human existence while simultaneously celebrating the beauty hidden within clumsy mistakes—the place from which authentic gesture emerges.
The performers inhabit a fragile and poetic universe where imbalance, repetition, failure, and adaptation become choreographic material. Through refined physicality, subtle emotional shifts, and visual precision, the work transforms vulnerability into a source of invention and possibility.
