QABALUM

QABALUM is a contemporary dance collective founded in Pamplona in 2020, dedicated to creation, performance, teaching, and cultural mediation. Formed by Lucía Burguete and Diego Pazó, the company has presented its work in festivals and theaters throughout Spain and internationally.

Alongside their collective creative and pedagogical work, Diego and Lucía also pursue parallel careers as performers with choreographers and companies such as Daniel Abreu, Jesús Rubio, Led Silhouette, Antonio Ruz, Elías Aguirre, Proyecto Larrua, and Laida Aldaz.

Their creations embrace the body as a narrative and poetic engine, choreographic craftsmanship as dramaturgy, and precision—both technical and performative—as a means to invite audiences, even if only briefly, into the infinite time of dance.

Todo Este Ruido

All This Noise is a dance work for two performers and a drone, born from a fascination with science fiction imagery, fragmented comic-book narratives, CGI aesthetics, and special effects, but also from myths surrounding the creation of the world, the genesis of existence, and humanity’s oldest philosophical intuitions—that persistent “something more” human beings have always questioned.

The piece draws from images that speak about origins: how we arrived here and what may come next. It unfolds as a danced poem sketching a possible future—a song to the light that crosses time in order to shape us.

Bodies move through landscapes of technological imagination and existential uncertainty, suspended between futuristic visions and ancestral questions. The presence of the drone transforms the stage into a constantly shifting visual field where surveillance, distance, intimacy, and perspective collide.

Perhaps life is one version among many. Perhaps all versions are ultimately the same. Perhaps that alone is enough.
